Questions for Study and Reflection
1. What are some of the needs you have? What happens when your needs do not get met? What are some of the things you want? What happens when those needs are not met?
2. Scan over John 11:1-44 to refresh your memory and read John 10:45-57. What causes the people in vs. 45 to respond the way they do?
3. What was the concern of the Pharisees mentioned in vs. 48? Was this a possibility? Was this their only concern? What may have been percolating below the stated concern?
4. What is the significance of the statement and its interpretation made by Caiaphas in vs. 49-52? Was it true? How did he know it? What was the problem that resulted in their desired action of vs. 53?
5. Do you agree with point II above? Why or why not? What do these words mean? How do they make a difference in your life and relationships today and into eternity?
6. Reflect this week on you journey before the Lord, specifically those things mentioned in point II above. How are you doing? What level of emphasis do you place on these needs? What would such an emphasis look like this week and in the weeks ahead? Walk it out!
