Questions for Study and Reflection
1. Recall a time when you were struck in awe by something or someone. What was it? Why did it cause you to wonder? Did others respond the same as you? Why or why not?
2. Read 1 Pet. 1:3-12. Reflect upon Point 1. Consider what angels have the opportunity to gaze upon in heaven. What exactly captures their attention as verse 12c suggests?
3. What are your thoughts about what God is doing in your life in terms of what Peter suggests in vs. 12c? What things cause you wonder? Why?
4. How do we remain in wonder of what God is fashioning in our lives? Review point II and its subpoints above. Review some of the Scripture on the other side of this sheet. Think of others that stand out to you that testify to what you are or are becoming in Christ. For example, review the following passages: 2 Cor. 5:17; 1 Pet. 2:9-10; 1 John 3:2; Eph. 2:10.
5. Take time to rejoice in what God is doing in your life. Take time to tell someone about it this week!
